This week, the end-use consumption in the lead-acid battery market showed no signs of improvement. Dealers continued to focus on digesting inventories, while lead-acid battery manufacturers exhibited low production enthusiasm and remained cautious in procuring raw material lead. Some relied solely on long-term contracts to meet production needs, resulting in weaker trading activity in the spot lead market compared to the previous week (WoW). Additionally, lead prices held up well, and rumors of price hikes occasionally circulated in the battery market. However, dealers faced difficulties in actual sales, and the wholesale prices of batteries struggled to rise. For instance, the main 48V20Ah model for e-bikes remained at 380-420 yuan per unit.
